According to a study by the University of Scantron in the United States, only 8 percent of people can implement the new year’s resolutions list. And 72 percent of people fail to implement the New Year’s resolutions list.
But many of us are determined to change ourselves in the new year. I am determined to achieve good health or reduce money waste. Or try to get a new habit or eliminate a bad habit. To achieve those goals we need motivation or stimulation within ourselves. BBC said in a report yesterday that there are five ways to implement the resolution list in the upcoming year 2020.
The first is to start slowly. Take a decision that is practically possible to comply. Only then will the chances of success increase. Researcher Miss Weinstein says “The change in real life comes slowly”. And psychologist Rachel Weinstein says, “The idea that I will become a new person in the new year is wrong.”
The second is a clear or transparent goal. Before we set goals, we often do not think how to achieve them. The plan is very important. Professor Neil Levy of the University of Oxford says that “Planning to go to the gym on Tuesday afternoon and Saturday morning, rather than making a decision that I will go to the gym, will increase the chances of success.”
The third way is to build support. Tell others about your determination. Engaging someone else in the implementation of the concept will inspire a lot. Professor of Philosophy at the University of Warwick in Britain. John Michael said that a situation especially motivates people to succeed if their resolve is successful and failure can lead to the loss of others.
Fourth, failure must be pursued. You should try to make a few changes in your daily life. If you find it difficult to achieve the goal, you need to analyze the situation in a cold head. It is important to take a realistic approach by analyzing which strategy is working, which is not working. Adjusting to life can bring a lot of success.
The fifth way is to turn the vision into a long-term goal. The best and most effective solutions are those that are part of the long-term goal. Psychologist Dr. Ann Swinburne says those who rely on the power of the mind are more likely to fail. And so you have to make a decision that has your own interests.
